Each spring, KiMS PTSA honors those at our school who are making a difference. There is no better way to thank a favorite teacher, helper or volunteer than to nominate them for one of our two annual PTSA awards, Golden Acorn & Outstanding Educator.

KiMS PTSA will share all kudos received during Teacher Appreciation next week, and PTSA and school leadership will review nominations and announce and award these honors before the end of the school year. This year's deadline to submit nominations is May 9th.

Please note that past recipients cannot be nominated for another award.

• The Golden Acorn Award is presented to a volunteer in recognition of dedication and service to students within our school and community.
  
  
• The Outstanding Educator Award is presented to an individual who made significant contributions to enhance the educational outcomes of KiMS students. An educator is not limited to a teacher and may be defined as a teacher, assistant, specialist, support staff, administrator or community member.
