There is no better way to thank a favorite teacher or volunteer than to nominate them for one of our two annual PTSA awards: Golden Acorn and Outstanding Educator Awards.
Kirkland Middle School PTSA presents two awards annually. Please note that past recipients cannot be given the same award again.
- Golden Acorn - Presented to a volunteer in recognition of dedication and service to students within our school and community.
- Outstanding Educator Award - Presented to an individual who made significant contributions to enhance the educational outcomes of KiMS students. An educator is not limited to a teacher and may be defined as a teacher, assistant, specialist, support staff, administrator, or community member.
Golden Acorn Award
Presented to a volunteer in recognition of dedication and service to students within our school and community. A contribution to the Washington State PTA Scholarship Program is made in the name of the recipient.
