Mark your calendar! Registration for cast and crew will open HERE on Monday, March 16th @ 7pm. Come back here for the live link, then. 

We anticipate a full cast & crew and will process registrations on a first come; first served basis.  So if your child is interested in joining, please plan to sign up on March 16th.

 

Auditions, mandatory parent meeting, and rehearsals start 6 weeks prior to performances.  Students must pre-register to sign up for an audition.  All students who are registered will receive a part in the show.

 

The participation cost is $170 for actors and $45 for crew

Please review our program expectations below before registering:

 

No experience is necessary!

 

 
 
Attendance is required for the following: Auditions, Callbacks, Casting & Read Through, all Tech Rehearsals and Performances.
 
For non-required days we can work around conflicts, but we ask that you notify us of all conflicts prior to auditioning via the online registration form.
 

Actors will not be needed for every rehearsal. You will be notified by Sunday of the call schedule for that week.

 

The musical is limited to a set amount of actors and a handful of crew

 

Read through all commitments below to verify your interest in participation

 

If we have more than the maximum cast and crew, students will be chosen for the play based on a first come; first served basis. 
 

Student Commitments

 

Actors:
Memorize a monologue from 30 to 60 seconds in length for auditions
Prepare a short excerpt of a song to sing at auditions
 
Attend all rehearsals for which you are called

Memorize your lines and blocking

 

Crew:
We are limited to a handful of crew positions that will be assisting with stage management, costumes/makeup and props. Please note: sets are provided by Studio East and not built by student crew.

 

Parent/Guardian Commitments

 

Support rehearsals either by serving as a chaperone or providing snacks (sign-ups will be provided)
Serve on one production committee (ticketing, cast party, photos, etc. - sign-ups will be provided)
Parent volunteers must be registered with LWSD:
Volunteering in LWSD - Lake Washington School District
At least one guardian must attend the in-person parent meeting
Pay for participation (link will be provided)
The participation cost is $170 for actors and $45 for crew
Additional costs commonly associated with the production include purchasing tickets, snacks, make up for your actor, etc
The fee will not be a barrier to any student that wants to participate. Please contact a parent producer if a scholarship is needed.
