The 2024-2025 Reflections theme: Accepting Imperfection
Entries are due Tuesday, Nov 12th!

SUBMISSION REMINDERS:
1. Digital submissions of art, video, or music should be sent to president@kirklandptsa.org
2. NO NAMES on the public facing side of the entry.
3. Visual Arts – 3D art is not being accepted by LWPTSA Council; only 2D entries are allowed.
4. Visual Arts – 2D:
- Maximum size is 24” x 30” (includes matting).
- Thickness is ½” (includes matting); no framing or loose materials.
5. Photography: Minimum and maximum sizes of photo
- Minimum size is 3” x 5” & maximum size is 8” x 10”
- Photo + mat is no bigger than 11” x 14” (No framing or loose materials.)
- Dimensions must be at least 640 x 960 pixels and 300 DPI (resolution).
If entries advance to Washington State PTA or National PTA, the physical artwork/photography will be collected and must meet these criteria – or they will not be accepted!
6. Music, Film and Dance:
- Video must not exceed 5 minutes in length and 1,000 MB (1,000 megabyte) in file size.
- Accepted file formats include: MP4, MOV or AVI for Film and Dance
- Accepted audio file formats for Music include MP3 and WAV (not MP4)

General Info on Reflections:
The Reflections Art Program has been bringing the arts to life for more than 10 million students since 1969. Students create an original work of art, along with an artist statement, to enter in of the published arts categories. These categories align each year with the national Reflections theme.
Student entries are then submitted at the school level and may move forward to the district, regional and state level competitions. Reflections typically happen in the fall at KiMS.
